Speech & Language Screening (November 23 & 25, 2024)

📢 SPEECH & LANGUAGE SCREENING

You&Me Psychological and Counseling Services is committed to increasing awareness and education surrounding speech and language development in our communities. We offer complimentary speech and language screenings on-site at the clinic for children of 6 months to 18 years old.

✔️When?
- Saturday, November 23 (10am-12pm)
- Monday, November 25 (3pm-8pm)

✔️Where?
You&Me Seoul Office (3F, 68, Ujeongguk-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul)

✔️Why?
With potential speech and language delays, early interviews are key. Identifying children with speech, language, and learning difficulties as early as possible allows for the initiation of early intervention services, which not only reduces the overall duration of therapy but also prevents subsequent challenges (e.g., frustration, low self-esteem, social difficulties) that can present as children grow.

Screenings are NOT designed to diagnose, but rather to assist in identifying aspects of a child's development, which may need further investigation or follow-up such as a speech-language evaluation. If minimal delay or concern is noted, the therapist will offer ideas and suggestions.
