Our Counseling Services

Clients come to our center for a wide range of reasons, all hoping to feel and function better. You are welcomed to seek our services. The approach to treatment varies from person to person and may initially include considerable work involving the client's past experiences. For others, treatment may emphasize current experiences. We strive to provide a supportive environment so you can work toward your unique goals.

Individual Therapy

In individual counseling or therapy, a client meets one-on-one with a therapist in 50-minute sessions. This working relationship may last for only a few sessions or may continue for much longer, depending on the needs of the client. Clients also come to the center to work toward developing a better self-image or to achieve personal growth.

Couple  issues can become more complex with the addition of cultural differences and relocation. Our staff also values the process of addressing the ongoing difficulties while taking into consideration how the Korean culture may impact the identified struggles. We also offer an evaluation for couples. Please ask for details.

YPCS offers expertise in relationship and family issues. We aim to provide counseling with a focus on the solution rather than the problem when we work with couples and families. 

Tele-Health Therapy
Tele-Health Therapy is a convenient way to receive counseling at YPCS.
If you live outside of Seoul, or you are reluctant to commute to our office for various reasons, you can still receive our services.

We use a secure online platform that allows us to have video sessions that complies with the online counseling regulations in the U.S. - this means the connection is secure and safe. You will be able to enjoy a secure link to your therapist.  The platform can be used not only using your desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile phone. As long as your have a strong internet connect, you will be able to receive the support you need.
